Once upon a time work used to be about integrity and worship .Today its about incessant growth and nomadic life.Nomads were there even in yesteryear s But the deluge of opportunities make your life a wanderer ,in search for MORE ,MORE AND MORE.
Once upon a time when yogis used to lead an ascetic life, in austerity ,simplicity and denial of life's pleasures .Today the yogis are of different kind, to get down to size zero, to augment their pleasures of the bed .
Once upon a time NEWS was to inform, to state ,to educate.Today news is always "BREAKING" so that there are enough fissures for viewers to peep in.
Once upon a time there was fresh air to breathe and clean water to drink.But a gill less specie gained power and changed the dynamics of life.When protocols are made and dismantled but an entire specie ,the intelligent one,drains its own resources.
But then such is life, at a point where it is implacable,it gives you a hope that the present state has also come from the same root which it once was.
In the vein of confession, we might have become complacent with such a life where money could have given all pleasures but loses its essence.Lets go back to our roots and learn little lessons which have been forgotten and trashed.

Life is simple ..not easy.Instant gratification is the buzz of this generation,so either you beat it or join it.Either ways, it will not be easy.!
Life and human beings are two things which are unpredictable, so this is the way life goes on because of the flaws of the society,just for some materialistic things like money and comfort & its good to go back to the roots but it will take a lot of time to that ~Make the World a Better place to live in ~ till then keep writing & spread awarness through your writing~. But this what is called "Change" some times for Good and some times for ~~~~
Gyanban: i dont want to differentiate the two worlds but integrate.little good things are not that difficult to incorporate.

M no saint preaching world welfare . Am just forwarding the thought that in the wake of being accomplished , do not forget little golden values..integrity , respecting relations, everything is not that difficult. We can get better and be better at the very same time.

..yes the times have changed...things are definitely not rosy now...whether on moral grounds or otherwise....but wasn't it so in the past too.....even though we as humans have a tendency to glorify the things our memory associates itself with..i ask on a realistic scale...whether the situation now is not better?....nothing is perfect...it never was!...or else there would be no moving forward....every age has its own flaws...and the onus is the people to correct it and usher in a new age....but as humans we are....it gives rise to new flaws......its an intricate cycle....a natural order...!!
p.s:..i noticed that ur blog has a new look!!...i like it!!!:)
nicely expressed..I personally feel the "once upon a time" which u mentioned were lot better than the present days..Anyways it was a good one..:)

Your post covers the stuff that has been in running in my mind these days. Superficiality is everywhere and it's increasing and look how far have we gone! The 80s and 90s was the time when I grew up and there was very little in the world as compared to present times. I've seen how money and assets have grown manifold and greed increased at a much higher rate. Money can never give you satisfaction, it will always leave you craving for more. The capitalistic forays and monetary system is eating up the world. 1% of world's elite hold 40% of the world's asset and people are starving everywhere. Have you watched movies like Zeitgeist and
Corporation? Please do watch.
Soon, this greed permeates to all facets of life and "image" becomes instrumental. Be it your dressing, profession, skin, words, promises..they all become governed by the same feeling and thus the story. We really need to get back to our roots.

Marriage, for those who truly want to be married, is about fun and laughter too. The more seriously one take anything in life, higher are the chances of wanting to break away sooner or later.
